Hyperspherical approach to dipolar droplets beyond the mean-field limit

We apply a hyperspherical formulation to trapped Bose-Einstein condensate with dipolar and contact interactions. Central this approach is general correspondence between K-harmonic methods suitable Gaussian ansatz the Gross-Pitaevskii equation, regardless of form interparticle potential. This allows one obtain potential energies for wide variety physical problems. In case condensate, motivates inclusion beyond-mean field term within picture, which us describe wavefunctions excitations self-bound droplets outside mean-field limit.
